I AM PART OF THE WORD PRESS FAMILY …. AWARD!!

I am honored and proud to say that I received a Word Press award yesterday from a very dear blogger.

This is the name of his blog: “Looking for a reason to a complicated world” …

He wrote:
“This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family” I started this award on the basis that the Word Press family has taken me in and showed me love and a caring side only Word Press can.

The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before.

I am honored to have been nominated for this award. It means a lot to me because, like Shaun, I have made new cyber-friends and have been educated in so many ways, on so many topics.

I think there are “masters” of this craft out there and to be considered good enough to be nominated for this award humbles me. I’m a newbie!! .. and I learn new things everyday … and for that, I’m thankful.

I have learned about history, political topics, personal issues and tribulations, medical conditions and coping mechanisms, rambling musings, history, sexuality, photography, art, poetry, prison movements, science and so much more.

I have seen blogs that are absolutely beautiful in their format. I have learned how to add videos to a post to make it more understandable and to help the words come alive.

The beauty of this is that one post inspires to write another. One topic leads the way for a new idea to research and post about.

I’m in the process of learning to change the appearance of my blog, display the notices I receive from Word Press and display the awards that you have bestowed upon me.
That is still a work in process. I feel there is still so much more that I need to learn.

Someone has told me that this isn’t that hard. So … I will try. I’m keeping my fingers crossed to find the “dashboard” and be able to achieve this. I do hope that the dashboard is “user friendly”.

I don’t want to copy anyone but I do want to be able to reach the quality that you have shown me is possible.
