Semper Fidelis Award …. from Shaun Gibson!!

I feel honored when Shaun considers me someone worthy of this award.

Loyalty and love between friends is a big deal for me.

“I created this award because I wanted to do something special for my friends on WordPress. Semper Fidelis is Latin and means Always Loyal. Loyalty means the world to me. I am very loyal myself, but I’ve got major trust issues as well. And I think trust is very important if you are sharing so much of yourself with people you meet through the internet. So I am working on that!

Why the wolves? Because wolves have very strong ties with their pack. Like a family or a great group of friends. And I just love them!”

I found Shaun by chance in the blogosphere …. A fortuitous meeting it’s been!! What can I say about Shaun that I haven’t already said? Awesome lad ….

Shaun introduced me to Jade …. We are building a connection that seems quite promising!

I read this about Jade in the “About” tab: “I have always loved the written word (there are several childhood holiday photos of me with my nose stuck in a book!)  and on my life’s bucket list is the desire to write a book. Over the years I have written odds and ends but took the decision to embark on a Creative Writing course last year which has given me the motivation to finally put my novel shaped pen to paper. Initially I thought I would struggle to write more than one chapter, but somehow I have managed to complete my first novel, Twelve Days – The Beginning, which will be published in May!”

Shaun introduced me to Bishop Eddie …. Times were troubled when we connected. Waves seem to be calming, as much as possible now.

I consider these writers to be in my pack of wolves.

This award stands for loyalty and love between friends, as noted by the Award Creator. I want people like this “in my corner”. They ”give” rather than “take”. They teach, they educate ….. they are all genuine.  They all have “good energy”.

They are “my kind of people”.
