I am honored to accept it for with grace and humility. It never ceases to amaze me that what I write or post or compile, some “out there” find it interesting to read, like, reblog and share.
The times that I have been nominated for an award by fellow bloggers, who have been working with their wonderful platforms, the more touched I am. These fellow bloggers have been accepting and have welcomed me with open arms. As I have started my journey into the blogosphere, I have found many bloggers that have been so open, so helpful, so inspiring and so educational to me.
I feel honored to be among some of the best. I feel inspired by what I read and moved to do better.
Some of you may know that “my blog” … “It is What it Is” … is relatively young. I started on this new venture in March 2013 – a month after I retired from my professional career of almost 40 years.
I had time on my hands and at the suggestion of a very dear friend … this journey started. My friend suggested that I write about the experiences that I had at work because of the “system” that I had been working with. It was started with the basic idea but it morphed into something else. It morphed into a little bit of everything. I call that “eclectic” …. I have found out that the more I bring my being to this “place”, the more it changes.
I would like to emulate those blogs that I find inspiring, educational, spiritual ….. these awards make my commitment to improve stronger. I don’t want to disappoint those who have considered by blog worthy.
Direct from the Versatile Blogger Award post:
If you are nominated, you’ve been awarded the Versatile Blogger award.
- Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
- Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
- Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. (I would add, pick blogs or bloggers that are excellent!)
- Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you might include a link to this site …… (http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/vba-rules/)
