ROSE
I am beside myself with gratitude. I cannot believe this ….
In the face of this storm, so many have rallied around Joe. Just this past week I had a conversation with the hospital social worker, and she shared her concerns that we won’t be able to afford the medications he’ll need to continue his treatment as an outpatient (pain, nausea, heart medications).
I explained to her that my friends started this fundraiser.
She paused, smiled, and said she is so impressed with his support. She said she wished more people had this kind of love surrounding them. She sees people everyday who have no one.
I feel like thank you just will never be enough … I am humbled and renewed.

There are medications I take that aren’t covered by my insurance and I can’t afford. I contact the Pharmacilical company and they offer free medication.

Yep averaging one degree. I can’t wait till we move to Asheville, N.C. My best friend lives there and I have two daughters in N.C. Just need money. Amy works but I am on a fixed income. Winter is beginning to scare me. Hugs, Barbara

I’m still in bed. Have to get up. I’m avoiding that first moment when my back hurts …… My undignified way of getting up.
I was much better but the last two days …. Ugh!

I have been there and you have my empathy. Log roll out of bed. Slowly do stretching and then trying to take the first few steps. I have had improvement in my back. The yoga…senior yoga at the Y helps I think. And walking. But there are times I stand up and my legs won’t move. It takes a few seconds to actually take that first step. And then there are days I can get up and go. Hugs, Barbara
