You’ve Never Heard A Cover Of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ Like This One
Pedro Reyes is a Mexican artist who has taken 6,700 seized and decommissioned guns donated by the Mexican government and turned them into … musical instruments. (Wouldn’t have been my first guess.)
The result is a haunting version of John Lennon’s “Imagine” like nothing I’ve ever heard before. A man is playing a flute made from a gun.
Need we say more?
We ALL are ONE!!
This is so BEAUTIFUL, Horty, that my heart is deeply moved and tears are welling up in my eyes.
Converting guns into musical instruments of peace and reconciliation to accompany John Lennon’s song Imagine is such a strong statement and modeling of what all of us individual can do to help create a better world.
And, as Pete Seeger sings, “God is counting on me and you” to make that positive contribution to our communities and our societies:
TY my dear friend!! As always!! Tight hugs!! From the heart …. 🙂
Love and hugs to you, Horty!
You are very special with a wonderful outreach!
Y!! You are so wonderful to me. I so wish we could meet. I think our souls are kindred.
Let me know if some time we could phone each other.
Stay warm …. hugs!! From the heart …
