Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!

  1. Horty, I admire your life of helping others especially the veterans of our country. The news in the last few days about the VA hospital in Phoenix must make you angry. I just wanted to comment on this post about execution for those convicted of the most heinous crimes. This botched lethal injection is without a doubt, a cruel and unusual punishment and should never happen again. I was just curious and sad that angrymanspeaks never mentioned the horror of the crime he is convicted of committing. He raped and buried alive a nineteen year old woman. The horror of what she experienced is equal or maybe more severe than what the torturer and murderer received. If it wasn’t for the pain and suffering inflected on innocent victims by the murderer there would be no need for the punishment of the death penalty. But that is just my opinion.

    • Dear Annette …. thank you for commenting!! Always appreciated!!

I’m aware of the AZ VA affair. Didn’t surprise me. I dealt with it all the time, sad to say!!

About the lethal injection, I must say that I wasn’t aware of the reasons this man was convicted. Didn’t know much about the details.

What he did is beyond the pale. I assume that’s why he was convicted and sentenced to death. What I don’t think was correct is the way they proceeded with the execution.

I totally agree with you. But, in the long run, in executing any criminal …. does it justify the ineptitude of those in charge of the procedure?

That’s the fact that I find was wrong.

      Always appreciate your visits!! 🙂
