Autumn, interchangeably known as fall in the US and Canada, is one of the four temperate seasons. Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter, inSeptember (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere) when the arrival of night becomes noticeably earlier and the temperature cools considerably.

One of its main features is the shedding of leaves from deciduous trees as they pave way for further growth.

A dear blogger friend showed me what this means: mchelsmusings.

Here is her explanation:

IOTD is image of the day, a concept I came up with. I teach visual meditative therapy – or in easy terms – a mini mental holiday. For some people it is very difficult for them to get their image right. I post an image a day for people to use in their mini mental vacay. Some are serious, some are silly, and some are just beautiful!

So far a lot of people l have enjoyed this when I’ve done it on http://www.Happier.com

    • I feel the same about winter, harsh winter. No snow or hibernating. But love the winter in Florida …. it’s cool, refreshing and jacket wearing. I agree with not liking your type of winter. 😦
