Sadly this is related and not related. The movement that has sprouted in view these well know killings by policemen and many that aren’t know …. shouldn’t be blamed for the actions of a lone unbalanced man. The justice activists are pointing to the fact that the police and judicial systems are broken and need total revamping. I would never condone the killing of these NYPD policemen. But there is no way that the “reality” of abuse of power by SOME policemen can be undone or “put away”. The “elephant ” sits in the middle of the room still!!

Notre Dame’s women basketball players came out for pregame warmups Saturday wearing “I Can’t Breathe” shirts.
The Irish joined a growing list of teams wearing similar shirts in support of the family of Eric Garner, who died in July after a New York police officer placed him in a chokehold while trying to arrest him.
