President Barack Obama called the late Beau Biden “the consummate public servant” during the funeral service Saturday for Vice President Joe Biden’s eldest son in Wilmington, Delaware. “He did in 46 years what most of us couldn’t do in 146,” Obama said Saturday of Delaware’s former attorney general, who died of brain cancer last week. “He left nothing in the tank.”
American Pharoah on Saturday became the first horse in 37 years to win the elusive Triple Crown, after he completed his sweep of the three major horse-racing events of the year by winning the Belmont Stakes. Led by rider Victor Espinoza, American Pharoah is only the 12th horse in history to achieve the feat.
