ADDICTING INFO

Kim Davis, the anti-gay Kentucky clerk that was jailed last week for repeatedly disobeying court orders to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, has just been released from jail.

U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning ordered Davis to be released on Tuesday, but only with the understanding that she is not to interfere with same-sex marriage licenses any longer. According to reporter Dave Weigel, there was the sense that the defiant clerk may opt to stay in jail.

Davis’ release became an option after the staff at her Rowan County office began issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples, and at the request of the plaintiffs that sued her. Judge Bunning agreed to her release, now that her office was doing its job – but Davis is not to meddle in same-sex marriage licenses once she’s out of prison. The court order said:

  1. Why is it so important to her what any two people do in their private lives. She doesn’t know them. Otherwise they would invite her to their weddings. So why doesn’t she do her job without judging what strangers are doing with their lives. I’m sure they aren’t concerned what she does when she leaves work or what she does for a job, except when she breaks the law and denies two people who just want the license to join legally in the union of marriage. Once again a private decision that has nothing to do with her. Her opinion or religious beliefs have nothing to do with her job. And earning $80,000 dollars to do it is a damn good wage. I say Suck it up and leave everyone else’s lives alone. Butt out. It’s none of your business. Your religious beliefs are not the concern of those who want to get married and their impending marriage has nothing to do with her. jk-tsk

    • In total agreement! This is one insufferable, infuriating person! Grant her all the liberty she wants ….. grant all other their liberty too! Like you write, not her business! Who is she to push her religion on others? The most certain way to alienate others …. Huck & Ted are parasites trying to capitalize for their ridiculous, dying campaigns …. Clowns, all clowns including the husband!! That’s my rant!!

      • A good rant! It is so frustrating. Like banging one’s head into a wall. The pain alters your thinking, to what is causing the pain. It is obvious but most can’t see the wall before them. Tear down the wall. Stop trying to make it higher between us all. We are one people. One planet. Why can’t we accept each other, share, and live in Peace?

As to those who exploit any small minutia for the purpose of being elected President is a shameful way to try to lead the people to an honest tomorrow. They all SUCK who demean any difference in whatever way it appears.

Let’s keep the RANTS coming and growing!!!
