NOT A HERO
I have followed this Kim Davis story with both fascination and disgust.
It’s a gift that keep on giving.
I thought we lived in a nation bound by laws.
Anyone not following the laws is a criminal.
This woman has broken the law, she’s been in contempt of court and was jailed because of this.
After the Labor Day weekend she was freed by the judge on the condition to not interfere with the clerks in her office who have been handing out marriage licenses to eligible couples.
Fascinating and disgusting to see how presidential candidates flock to her side and exhort and hail her in her quest.
She hasn’t return to her job yet but has reportedly said, through her lawyer, that she remains in her original stance.
PEOPLE, SHE’S NOT A HERO …

Amen, Horty! This is beyond absurd to my Canadian head! Most definitely she should NOT be seen as anything but a person who discriminates! If you cannot do your job according to the law, quit! Oooohh, I am absolutely angered to the core over this one! Cher xo

To me, this signals and confirms another sign of the demise of this country! I’m ashamed and embarassed!

When I turned on the news and saw her jubilantly raising up the arm of her husband and of her lawyer, my stomach literally began to turn. And these dear souls who are trying to get their marriage licenses; my goodness, it is supposed to be a joyous time for them, not riddled with hate from someone who is supposed to be doing their damn job! Sorry for my harshness, I just am so saddened by this, Horty.

….me too, Cher …. you’d be surprised how many are following her and the politicians who are trying to capitalize on this. It’s shameful. Anyone who doesn’t follow the law is a criminal … she’s being hailed as the “second coming of god” …. jeez!! 😦

Clicked onto a site, “boingboing” where a former Blackwater contractor is selling an assault rifle with a psalm on it, stating something to the effect of the Lord is training his hands for war, and his fingers for killing.” Not absolutely verbatim, but close. This is so that if the weapon gets into the hands of ISIS fighters, they will toss it when they see the inscription. There are so many crazies out there.

What is next?
If this is allowed, which group will be the one denied rights under the law? Where will it all end? People have died for human rights for centuries, this ignorant woman is trying to erase it all.
