11 BENGHAZI TAKEAWAYS
The House Benghazi committee took its best swings at Hillary Clinton in a day-long hearing Thursday, October 22, 2015, – but the former secretary of state remained mostly calm throughout the hearing, save for a few animated moments in which she struggled to mask her contempt for her Republican inquisitors.
The panel’s seven Republicans tried to prove Clinton ignored U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens’ requests for additional security before the September 11, 2012, attacks during which Stevens and three other Americans were killed.

‘I really don’t care what you say about me.’
At the end of the 11th hour — and after a brief coughing fit — Clinton could no longer hide her contempt for the Republican-led committee, and particularly Gowdy.
“I really don’t care what you say about me.
It doesn’t bother me a bit,” she said while defending Admiral Michael Mullen, who helmed a previous Benghazi investigation.
She added: “I can’t help, Mr. Chairman, that you all don’t like the findings” of previous reviews.

~Hillary Clinton Keeps Calm While Being Grilled In Benghazi Hearing~
~Published on Oct 22, 2015~
Hillary Clinton sat in front of the Select House Committee on Benghazi to determine if she mishandled the response to the 2012 attack on the Libyan embassy in Benghazi.
The attack killed four Americans, including Clinton’s friend, Ambassador Chris Stevens.
We ALL are ONE!!
I am a Hillary hater but I have to admit she was absolutely spectacular yesterday. The stupid republicans gave her all day to 1. display her vast knowledge of world affairs, 2. demonstrated the complexity of things and her ability to handle it all, 3. showed how ridiculous it is to present it was her fault, 4. showed she had the stamina to be grilled all day and not break , 5. showed her skill in crisis management and so much more. I am so impressed with her now I just might vote for her. She certainly is the most qualified of just about anyone to be president. I can’t believe I say this but I do. Hill’s a smart tough ol’ broad.

Agree!! I understand your statement …. about Hillary. I’m not decided on who to vote for but if she’s the only option, I’ll feel at ease. The best political ad ever … Long and very exact. We were all witnesses!

They painted their own we are the villains self portrait and handed her the election. All she needs is to carry the big cities with big majorities(she will as that is her base) in the 10 big states and she has the electoral votes to win.

I feel like you and Carl. Yesterday, I was so impressed with her guts and strength to withstand hours of being disrespected, yelled at with no substance, that I am taking a second look at her. Horty, she is our age. I would have been exhausted and screaming right back at those idiots!! She handled herself with dignity.
The republicans have been counting on a smoking gun to take out Hillary Clinton. They have been counting on Benghazi and the emails and both these issues are turning out to be duds.

Bernie would be a gridlock president because democrats and republicans will never fund his programs. Can’t afford them. Can’t run a country on idealism as unfortunate as that may be. But he is the type of person I want ever on the American political scene to rage about the injustices in our system and the economic and political disenfranchisement of everyday Americans. I also appreciate the purity of his integrity. But he’d lose as bad as Mondale and McGovern and candidacy would create loses for democrats in house and maybe coupla close ones in senate. I’ve voted republican for president except twice. I really admired and believed in George McGovern in 1972. In 2000 I joined 97,000 other Floridians and voted for Ralph Nader. My father will be 92 next month. He intends to vote for Franklin D Roosevelt. Again.

She handled herself well. I still don’t like her, but she handled herself well. She is still a centrist, she is still a hawk, she is still more in the pocket of Wall Street and business than I like, she is still not the progressive I want. She is still a Clinton. I still don’t like her, but she sure in the hell handled herself well. She proved she knew her stuff, could stand up to the BS. She might just be our best hope.

My way of thinking. May I ask who would be your candidate?
One thing I know … I don’t want a Republican in the WH!

Honestly? I don’t know. Love Bernie, but I am a pragmatist. While I align fully with his vision, I think he would create even more partisanship in Washington than we have today. As much as I would love to see a third party, I like Jill Stein a great deal, she doesn’t have a chance and every vote for a third party is a vote for the GOP. So the reality is, I will vote for the Democratic Candidate, which will likely be Hilary Clinton. She will govern from the center, just like Barack and just like her husband.

I think that my point too. Love Bernie too. Jill Stein .. think no chances. Can’t left a GOP in the WH.
