THE GOLDEN YEARS
It very well seems to me that others have been here before. I’m at that age …. my golden years.
Whoever came up with this phrase obviously wasn’t there yet.
It may seem funny …. but no truer words have been said.
In my humble opinion, the should have been called the “rusted years“.

THE GOLDEN YEARS HAVE COME AT LAST,
I CANNOT SEE, I CANNOT PEE
I CANNOT CHEW, I CANNOT SCREW
MY MEMORY SHRINKS, MY HEARING STINKS,
NO SENSE OF SMELL, I LOOK LIKE HELL,
MY BODY’S DROOPING, GOT TROUBLE POOPING.
THE GOLDEN YEARS HAVE COME AT LAST,
THE GOLDEN YEARS CAN KISS MY ASS.

We ALL are ONE!!
Reblogged this on Essence of Pride, Inc. and commented:
While I’m not in my golden years yet…I will be in a couple years, and I can truly relate to Dr. Rex’s comment. Just as the saying “Golden Years,” is a total fabrication or someone’s idea of a practical joke, so is the saying, “Grow old Gracefully.” I can assure you that the changes in which our bodies undergo, gracefully is just not one of them. LOL!

I laughed, I giggled, I cried. But then I laughed again. Nothing you can do but laugh.
