Puerto Rican Film “30 Days with My Brother” to be Distributed

30-days-with-my-brother.jpgThe new independent film “30 Days with My Brother” has been acquired for distribution, Francisco Salazar reports for the Latin Post.

AMC Independent has announced that it will release the Puerto Rican film for distribution and that it is slated for 2016.

“30 Days With My Brother” stars Omar Mora as well as Stefy Garcia, Evelyn Michelle, Amy Schloerb and Enrique Fosse and tells the story of two brothers who are forced to confront their past, themselves and try to restore their relationship.

The film was written Omar Mora and produced by Moras Productions and M&F Entertainment.

The deal is another demonstration of the strength of Latino film being released and distributed in the U.S. This past year alone saw many high profile Latino films acquired for distribution including “The Club,” “El Clan,” “Desde Alla,” “Embrace of the Serpent,” “The Second Mother” and “The Peal Button.” All of these…

I'm originally from Puerto Rico. I was born in Santurce and raised in Rio Piedras. Have lived in Florida since 1999. I have a doctorate degree in Medicine; completed in 1976. My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs.
