Meet Lily, the world’s first throw-and-shoot camera.
This highly innovative drone is a new way we take video and stills of our activities. Just throw it up in the air, and it tracks you in cinematic video, no matter if you’re riding a wave, kayaking down raging rapids or just off on a peaceful walk with the kids. This device is going to change the way we take selfies, and by that, I mean they’ll actually be good.
Lily uses a tracking device placed on the subject you want to follow. Throw Lily up in the air, and then get to doing whatever you want to film.
Lily is waterproof, portable enough to fit in a small backpack and shoots HD video, including slow motion at 60 or 120fps. You can also take 12 megapixel stills by pushing the button on the tracking device.
Subjects can move up to 25mph while Lily tracks them using GPS and its camera, always keeping them centered in the frame. The internal battery allows for 20 minutes of flight per charge. It has a number of different “Lily Shot” options, from subject tracking, to a loop mode which circles the subject.
The company is currently taking pre-orders on their website for $499, but when Lily starts shipping in February 2016 the price will go up to $999.

“Goodbye Selfie Goodbye NIXIE Welcome” Lily
Lily is the world’s first throw-and-shoot camera. Unlike other drones, the Lily Camera requires no controller as it follows the wearer’s bracelet. The camera follows the user via GPS tied to a bracelet, which communicates distance, position and speed back to the camera.
Equipped with an accelerometer, barometer, GPS and a front – and a bottom-facing camera, the camera gives users several vantage points with the hopes that it will eventually be able to sense weather as well as terrain. The camera is also completely waterproof.
So far the company has raised venture funding from Upside Partnership, SV Angel and High Line Venture Partners among others.
We ALL are ONE!!
