A few days ago, I found another cover for Adele’s “Hello”.

Adele started her world tour in Ireland.

There was the story of her visiting a 12 year old girl with a severe medical condition.

Then I found the cover mentioned in a previous post.

I thought … “wouldn’t it be great if these guys were able to sing for her?”

IT HAPPENED!!

Two Irish Guys Give Adele a Run for Her Money

While you’re waiting for Adele‘s massive world tour to come to your neck of the woods, wile away the hours listening to this incredible cover of some of her greatest hits, posted on Facebook by Irish website, Her.

In the video, Irish singer Glenn Murphy lends his rich tenor to songs like “Hello” and “Someone Like You,” accompanied by Ronan Scolard who not only plays the melodies on the piano, but also harmonizes on the songs. The result is a beautiful, stripped down medley of some of Adele’s best songs, which would undoubtedly make the singer proud.

Since Adele is basically the Ellen of the music world, it probably won’t be too long until these two gents are invited on stage with her to perform.

By now, you must have seen that duet video of Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy singing a duet medley of some of Adele’s most famous songs.

It’s gone pretty much viral, amassing millions of views within a day or two. Needless to say, it undoubtedly caught the attention of Adele or someone in her team. Earlier tonight, Adele brought both Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy on stage at the 3 Arena to give the sold-out audience a little rendition of their tribute.

Two Irish guys, Ronan and Glenn, made a medley mash-up of Adele’s song just days before her arrival for her Dublin show, and it was an instant internet hit. Unbeknownst to both them and the thousands of fans that had joined her on that special evening (including Bono & Hozier!) she invited them on stage.

Watch as the event unfolds and turned into what was the highlight of Glenn and Ronan’s career so far.

Now they are here with the queen herself.
