This is one very interesting and important post. Please, stop by and read!

Today’s A-Z post could just as easily be T for Topical, due to the amount of media coverage the Transgender community has had recently; notably for stories about Caitlyn Jenner, who controversially (and temporarily)won Glamour magazine’s “Woman of the Year” award and for the equally contentious Bathroom Bill, which seeks to ban transgender people from bathrooms that do not correspond to the gender specified on their birth certificates.

But that isn’t the reason for me choosing to use this as the topic for today’s post, I have a far more personal reason; I’d like to introduce you to a friend of mine.

Facebook has always been a fascinating way to make new friends; you can get to know people from all over the world, from all walks of life and from many different cultures (the ones that don’t think the internet is the work of…

My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!

  1. Thank you for reblogging this wonderful post dear friend. i found myself very emotional while reading it. It is soo wonderful that there are sweet kind people who open their hearts to others even others who many in society shun, These folks are the lights in a dark world that are soo desperately needed, these are people like you. For those who do reach out the rewards for reaching out can be soo abundant, truly make us richer.

Transitioning is such a hard road to take but for those who are transgender the feelings of needing to be true to ourselves never goes away no matter how hard that you fight it. When a hand is offered in friendship it drives away the loneliness and inspires new steps to be taken. Thank God for all those who care to reach out!
