FOREVER PROUD
I was born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico.
As I was growing up, the presence of the USA was everywhere.
I went to a private school run by American Catholic clergy and nuns.
I learned about the goodness and greatness of the USA.
I was proud to be an “American”.
Most are aware of the difficult times Puerto Rico is currently going through.
As an adult now (senior citizen), I’ve learned about the real history of my country.
It’s “master”has ransacked, abused and profitted from it’s “colony”.
Now I know better.
My pride will never fade.
It will never die.
I’m a very proud Puerto Rican!
