Your fellow house representative have stage an unprecedented “sit-in” in the floor of the house and you remain hidden somewhere safe.

not completely unheard of. The Republicans had a “sit-in” back in 2008 and had lights & cameras turned off by the Democrats.

it’s all “politics as usual” – the refusal to agree simply based on party line.
