SOFTENING … HARDENING … DEFINED

I wasn’t going to, I promise.

I followed yesterday with the passion of a groupie.

Needless to say, what I hoped would happen, didn’t.

I saw this change with my own eyes.

I must confess I wasn’t able to watch the Arizona “policy speech” in its entirety.

I had to stop.

My stomach was churning … as it is now.

I was a combination of disgust and fear.

I think Ann Telnaes captured the idea in her work.

Mexico Trump, Arizona Trump

The Republican nominee showed two different Trumps yesterday at his press conference in Mexico and a rally in Arizona.

Ann Telnaes is an editorial cartoonist for The Washington Post.

She won the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 2001.
