IOTD …. Image of the day, #598 …. “Never Surrender …. no matter what …. come what may …. “!!

~~December 4, 2016~~

Many are aware of the struggle the LGBT community has gone through since immemorial time.

Let me start at the Stonewall Inn riots in 1969.

This is usually a cut-off point where the LGBT community of the time decided: no more.

We are standing up to abuse and discrimination.

Major goals have been attained since then.

Check list below.

The President-Elect has selected nominees for Cabinet positions.

No one of them has a favorable view of the of the LGBT community and they have expressed their feelings.

It’s not the time to stand down, to go back in the closet.

It’s a time to continue the fight, be vigilant and proud.

Never surrender!

  1. We can’t go backwards. My nephew is gay, married, and living in Seattle. He and his husband are both Trump supporters. How can that even be possible? I’m not close to him, but he’s from Indiana and seems to be quite the redneck.
