Pudge’s career is something to be proud of. He was on 14 All-Star teams and won 13 Gold Glove Awards during a 21-year career. His lifetime batting average was .296 and he hit 311 home runs. His fielding percentage was .991. He caught 661 attempted base stealers…sent all of them back to the dugout.
He is also the career leader among all catchers, in the entire history of the game, in all of the following categories:
