Keith Olbermann, #44 …. “Presidential? …. Drumpf’s Amazing Speech Sure Didn’t Age Well …. “!!

Donald Trump Finally Sounded Like a President

For the first time in his presidency, Drumpf acted the part.

“I am here tonight to deliver a message of unity and strength,” he announced from the Speaker’s rostrum moments into his hour-long joint address to Congress on Tuesday night, February 28.

For once, that message bucked his bombastic instincts and channeled the aspirational aims of conventional predecessors. It was perhaps the clearest sign yet that after 40 days in the West Wing, the President is beginning to come to grips with the public responsibilities of the office.

“Sure didn’t age well!”

Before long, he went back to his usual ways!

Proves he can actually read from a teleprompter!

I feel this is important information about what is happening in the Republican Administration lead by Drumpf and what we need to be aware of.

Keith Olbermann series called “The Resistance” continues.

He has posted installment #44.

The video speaks for itself.

If this resonates with you, good.

If they don’t, just scroll away to the next blog.

Thank you!

Rep. Maxine Waters warns Trump: ‘Get ready for impeachment. Because we’re going there.’

Ms. Maxine … right there with you!!

The Fifth Column

WASHINGTON - AUGUST 13: Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) holds a news conference to challenge the charges made against her by the House of Representatives ethics committee at the U.S. Capitol August 13, 2010 in Washington, DC. The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct said it found sufficient evidence that Waters' chief of staff, her grandson Mikael Moore, granted "special favors" to a struggling Massachusetts-based bank in which her husband owned stock. Waters has requested that a public trial by an ethics committee panel take place before the November election. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)attribution: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images

Rep. Maxine Waters does not intend to sit idly by and watch Republicans ignore the relationship between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russians looking to destabilize the U.S. government. In an interview on Sirius XM’s Make It Plain, she said even in Republican-safe districts, voters will only tolerate so much. [Transcript via ShareBlue]

WATERS: Republicans in many of these districts are considered to be very patriotic. And when their constituents, even if they’re right-wing conservatives, discover that somehow they’re protecting Putin and the Kremlin, they’re not going to like that. Because many of them think they’re more patriotic than anybody else. So Republicans cannot be caught defending Putin. And we must say that over and over again.

And for Democrats, we’ve got to stay on it. We’ve got to challenge. We can’t be intimidated. We can’t think about whether this is going to…

The ‘Greatest’ Healthcare??? HaHaHaHaHa …

What’s best for ‘We The People’ … not this unspeakable version of crap! ✊🏽

Filosofa's Word

Well, well, well … it would appear that Trump & Co. have finally come up with what he earlier said would be “the greatest” healthcare, that it would “provide insurance for everybody … much less expensive and much better … “.  And this …  “I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.”

Yesterday, it was announced that after nearly two months in office, the “plan” is finally unveiled in all its splendor.  Only one slight problem … if I may be a tad crude for just a moment … it sucks.  It sucks and nobody likes it.  It will cost all of us, except, of course, that infamous 1% at the top of the food chain, more, and many more of us will be…

Headlines for today … here they are!

1. GOP starts push to replace ObamaCare in House
The Republican proposal to replace ObamaCare cleared its first hurdle early Thursday when the House Ways and Means Committee approved the legislation in an 18-hour session. House Speaker Paul Ryan tried to mollify resistance from fellow Republicans, saying the legislation is “what good, conservative health care reform looks like.” Democrats, in the minority on committees in the GOP-led Congress, fought the plan in meetings of two committees by offering doomed amendments that would have kept the bill from raising deficits or stripping anyone of health insurance coverage. Opposition grew on Wednesday, with the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, and the AARP coming out against the Republican proposal, saying it would hurt vulnerable Americans. The proposal would end fines for those who don’t buy insurance, and replace income-based subsidies with age-based tax credits to…

Women’s Day …. A Princess in every corner of the world!!

A Princess on Every Street
written & edited by Kendall F. Person

There is a princess on every street.
We know who they are by their smiling faces,
and silver braces.
We see the pretty dresses that they wear,
and the adorable ponytails arranged of their hair.
We see them skipping down the walk,
headed off to school,
and ready for the world
because they are daddy’s little girl.

There is a princess on every street.
In the broken down apartment buildings,
and in the houses that blot the streets.
We know who they are,
even if they rarely come outdoors
by the songs they sing,
like the sun will come out Tomorrow,
and other wishful things.

There is a princess on every street. Living with abusers
intent on robbing them of a childhood and a future.

Loved that little girl … the moment I saw her! Thx for sharing!

By Amanda Froelich

On the eve of International Women’s Day, an asset manager on Wall Street had a statue of a fearless girl installed to face the iconic bull statue already in place. The intention of doing so is to highlight a lack of gender diversity and equality in the workplace.

Created by artist Kristen Visbal, The Fearless Girl statue has drawn hoards of attention for a beneficial purpose. According to a statement released by the State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the statue is part of a call on more than 3,500 companies that benefit from clients’ investments to ensure that their governing boards are diverse. Ron O’Hanley of SSGA commented:

“A key contributor to effective independent board leadership is diversity of thought, which requires directors with different skills, backgrounds and expertise. Today, we are calling on companies to take concrete steps to increase gender diversity on…
