1. New Trump immigration order suffers narrow court setback
A federal judge in Wisconsin on Friday ordered that President Trump’s revised executive order pertaining to refugee admissions and immigration from six majority-Muslim countries cannot delay U.S. entry for the wife and only surviving child of a Syrian refugee who has already been granted asylum in the United States. The ruling only applies to this family and does not suspend broader implementation of the order. “[G]iven the daily threat to the lives toplaintiff’s wife and child remaining in Aleppo, Syria, the court further finds a significant risk of irreparable harm,” wrote U.S. District Court Judge William Conley, who was appointed by President Obama. At least four other court challenges are scheduled before Trump’s new order takes effect after midnighton Wednesday.

Putting Tears In Everyone’s Eyes

Everyone knows the John Lennon song, “Imagine” – but Pentatonix puts their own spin on it with a powerful message that everyone can take to heart! Their voices, coupled with the moving lyrics first penned by Lennon in May 1971, come together to make a rendition of the song that everyone should hear at least once in their life!

Lennon’ inspiration for “Imagine” came about when he tried to envision a world with only peace, and without the division among all people.

The song was released later that year in October, and it was an instant hit.

ACLU slams Puerto Rico decree that calls for fasting, prayer

WTF? … ‘divine intervention as it struggles through an economic ‘recession’? Ah, come on … you can do better than that!

Repeating Islands

The American Civil Liberties Union is challenging a decree passed by Puerto Rico legislators that calls for 40 days of fasting and prayer.

The organization said in a statement today that the decree violates the concept of separation of church and state. The decree was approved in February after Puerto Rico’s House of Representatives President Carlos Mendez said the island needed divine intervention as it struggles through an economic recession.

The decree calls for the “spiritual, material and social purification” of Puerto Rico’s population. People have been voluntarily meeting at churches daily from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. throughout the island since Feb. 26.

The ACLU is seeking a federal temporary restraining order and has questioned whether public funds are being used for the meetings.

Our President Has Raised His Practice Of Lying To An Art Form

Here you have it … Drumpf’s ‘modus operandi’ fully explained! His tactics … fully described!

Gronda Morin

The following commentary takes on the task of explaining how our republican President Donald Trump and his administration have taken their alt-facts to an elevated art form. What is truly amazing are the republican US House representatives and conservative pundits who are enabling him by pretending that the emperor is fully dressed when he is running around, like a stark naked crazy leader.

Just witness how these supposedly sane legislators are acting to cover for the president’s latest whopper, by making statements along the lines that “we’ll just have to wait to see what facts an investigation produces. This is their response to our president past week’s actions (3/4/17), when he publicly  accused our former democratic President Barack Obama, without any evidence, of having his Trump Tower’s phone, wiretapped, prior to his election. Those lawmakers are downplaying the president’s faux pas even though they all know, that he could get on the phone…
