Immigration Agents Discover New Freedom to Deport Under Drumpf
The Drumpf Republican administration’s far-reaching plan to arrest and deport vast numbers of undocumented immigrants has been introduced in dramatic fashion over the past month.
And much of that task has fallen to thousands of ICE officers who are newly emboldened, newly empowered and already getting to work.
Gone are the Obama-era rules that required them to focus only on serious criminals.

It Is What It Is 
*Sigh.* I think many of us knew this was coming as soon as he was elected, but seeing and reading about these arrests are so horrifying. And it’s funny, because for all his talk about all the bad “hombres” he’s deporting, I’ve only seen moms torn away from their families, a dad forced out of his car while dropping his children off at school, and a “Dreamer”–Daniela Vargas–who should have been protected but instead was arrested after she spoke in public about the arrest of her father and brother. This just seems so surreal doesn’t it?😕

I signed the petition so I did get an email about that a couple of days ago. Good news in deed. What scares me though, is I think it’s only a matter of time that he finds some “alternative facts” to support suspending the program.😔
