A report by Carly Stern for the Daily Mail.

Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda decided to pay tribute to his wife this weekend in a way that’s even more permanent than a marriage certificate.

The 37-year-old, who said ‘I do’ to his former high school classmate Vanessa Nadal in 2010, headed to the tattoo parlor for some seriously sentimental ink.

On Wednesday, he showed it off on Twitter, sharing a picture of a subtle black ‘V’ on his left ring finger.

‘In other news, I got a permanent parking spot for V over the weekend,’ he wrote, captioning the picture.

Thousands of fans chimed in, called the gesture ‘adorable’ and ‘the cutest thing ever to be done’.

Only Christopher Jackson — who starred in Lin-Manuel’s In the Heights and played George Washington in the original Hamilton cast — had anything negative to say, sharing a joke about his friend’s hairy knuckles.
