🌼 …. I traveled to Delaware to visit family late July 2015. There was a project they had in mind for me.
You see, Michael, my brother-in-law, had this androgynous, wooden 'body' in his living room. He'd had it for a while and developed an attachment to it.
His brand new wife, Linda, wanted the 'thing' gone … it was ugly and didn't match their new house beach decor.
They compromised to fix it up and decide if 'it' would stay.
That's where I came in … what to do?
Let's make it a girl and give her a beach look.
That's how 'Sandy Girl' came to life … watch a bit of the process …. the project started on July 29, 2015 …. 🌼
Take skirt and hat off. That's the 'wooden body'. We tried dressing her up. Linda's skirt and hat … then we brought her home to start working on her!
She got a yin-yang tattoo!
Ready to go home!!
🌼 … Project completed on August 1, 2015, to the satisfaction of Sandy's 'parents!
She's at home, holding on to a kite's string that's tacked on the wall above her … 🌼
