Simply amazing … need soothing beauty now!!
When I looked out of the window this morning I thought, wow, this is the epitome of a winter’s sky. With what appeared as a wall of grey-blue clouds, along with whisps of light, streaky clouds, added to that the sun’s muted rays bursting upward, I’d say this is a pretty good ‘picture’ of a mid-western, chilly sky.
In relative terms, it is ‘cold’ here in Chicago. Now, as I’ve mentioned before, I dare not complain about it, lest my lovely fellow Canadians remind me that it’s not, ‘as cold as it is in the Great White North’. That is, in places such as Edmonton, Alberta, or Winnipeg, Manitoba. That’s a different kinda cold altogether! I like to refer to it as a, ‘sub-arctic’ cold.
