The book, Kill Anything That Moves: the real American war in Vietnam by Nick Turse seems to state the continued American strategy and policy!!
With last year’s documentary series by renowned American director Ken Burns, titled The Vietnam War, having recently wrapped up airing on PBS, the Vietnam War is currently all the rage among American history buffs these days. OMG!! I can barely begin to imagine …. I don’t think the American strategy has changed much. It brings to mind what is happening in the Middle East … and many years before, in Puerto Rico, though a smaller scale!!

Vietnam was one of the darkest moments in American history. We sacrificed over 54000 of our young warriors for the greedy munitions/industrial complex.

Contrary to popular patriotic songs, America has not been a great nation. We are, however, a great people because of our diversity. Yes, all our military involvements since WW2 have been orchestrated by corporate greed.
