As far as I’m concerned, a day with Aretha Franklin is the best antidote to all things having to do with hearing the news on the latest outrage delivered to us by our republican Reality TV Show President Donald Trump.
She has the distinction of having sung at the funeral for the Reverend Martin Luther King and at President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
The self-proclaimed diva passed away on the 16th of August 2018, at the age of 76 due to pancreatic cancer.
