~~October 3, 2019~~

It’s a bit long video … but never enough for us, Harry and Meghan fans.

Highly successful, we got to see them as a family, as caring, warm individuals committed to their causes.

And we got to see Master Archie!

In all its glory, take a look at this compendium of events, schedule, photos and happy success.

As the royal tour drew to a close, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry both made impassioned speeches regarding the trip.

Clearly Meghan and Harry’s visit to South Africa has had a huge impact on them both, especially as the couple traveled with their baby son. Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

“It has been affirming to learn that we’re not alone in the things that we believe in, and the principles we hold so dear.”

~Meghan Markle~

“Ever since I came to this continent as a young boy, trying to cope with something I can never possibly describe, Africa has held me in an embrace that I will never forget, and I feel incredibly fortunate for that.”

~Prince Harry~

“And as I raise my own son, I want to make sure that what I’ve learned here – the value of the natural world, the value of community and friendship – is something that I can pass on to him.”

~Prince Harry~

#TBT …. “❤️ Throwback Thursday …. ‘Wedding Day: Circa 1934’ ❤️ …. “!!

~~October 3, 2019~~

My Mom and my Dad emigrated from Puerto Rico to New York City in the early 1930’s. They were looking for a better life as individuals. They met, fell in love and married in 1934.

As I recall, on of my Mom’s many stories and accomplishments … she made her own wedding gown.

This is where I come from!

Save Your Souls!

As always … weak, weak!! From a blogger I follow … Too ‘liddle’, too lake!!
“Save their souls? If is way too late for that. They sold their souls decades ago and will seldom look back.
Flake’s op-ed … Wasted time, wasted words and wasted ink.”

In Saner Thought

Then there is Jeff Flake….this GOPer was one of the few that would not be silent on Trump….sadly he decided not to run for re-election before he became vocal….and now his mouth is running again…..

He has decided to weigh in on the upcoming impeachment process….

Former Sen. Jeff Flake has his own take on how the Senate would respond to President Trump’s impeachment, Fox News reports. “At least 35” Republican senators would support impeachment if the vote were held privately, he said Thursday at the 2019 Texas Tribune Festival. “I heard someone say if there were a private vote there would be 30 Republican votes. Lightly child, lightly

So true … ‘ It was like my walk…this morning: when you took a moment to see what was around you, noticed all the little things, it made you feel … lighter.’ … Gail Honeyman, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine.

Live & Learn

When I came back into the flat, I noticed that it smelled lemony. It was a pleasure to enter…I turned off the radio and sat in silence on the sofa, drinking another cup of tea. All I could hear was the breeze whistling softly through the open window. I didn’t normally notice my surroundings, I realized. It was like my walk…this morning: when you took a moment to see what was around you, noticed all the little things, it made you feel … lighter.
