THE HANDMAID’S TALE
By now, dear visitors, you must have realized that I’m an avid fan of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’.
Much has been said about the book, the Hulu series, the sequel (“The Testaments”), the author, Margaret Atwood and how it may be a semblance of the current reality.
There certainly seem to be parallels.
The author frequently mention that she was written about things that have actually happen in the human experience.
In case you missed it, here’s a nutshell summary of the series.

“I made nothing up,” Atwood said in the Time interview, citing the Salem witch trials of the 17th century as an example of women’s oppression.
“The control of women and babies has been a part of every repressive regime in history,” Atwood continued. “Not much has changed.”
