O HOLY NIGHT

One of my favorite Christmas songs. I missed the Houghs special. Will try to find a replay somewhere.

This song is unique and timeless.

It’s always touched my heart very deeply, very much so during this season.

This cover is simply amazing!!

O Holy Night” (French“Minuit, chretiens” or “Cantique de Noël”) is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem “Minuit, chrétiens” (Midnight, Christians) written by wine merchant and poet Placide Cappeau (1808–1877). In both the French original and the English version of the carol, as well as in many other languages, the text reflects on the birth of Jesus as humanity’s redemption.

~NBC is spending the Holidays with the Houghs~

The hour long special features brother and sister and Emmy Award-winning choreographers Derek and Julianne Hough, each of whom and together will perform in show-stopping musical and dance performances. The duo’s friendly sibling rivalry will be on full display as they compete in putting their own spin on holiday classics, share family holiday traditions and create new ones for seasons to come.

Catholic, Non-Catholic. Believe. Don’t Believe. But Watch.

Watched the previews, the interviews and the promos … “If you’re going to make a movie about what’s holy, it had better be outstanding — and this drama rises to the occasion.” Tara McNamara, Common Sense Media.

Live & Learn

Of course I have sinned….
As a child, I have failed you first by not having the courage to taste of life itself.
Instead, I hid away in books, and then study.
I know now this left me empty and void of the world.
