The ‘so-called’ president of the U.S. of A. spent the weekend hiding in a bunker. He wanted to make up for the image reported to the nation. With several of his sycophants and idiotic yes-men and yes-women as well as Ivanka and Jared, they came up with a plan for a photo-op.

Sad to say AG Barr and Sec. Esper participated in the tear gassing of American citizens who were exercising their constitutional right of free assembly and 1st amendment!

The ‘so-called’ President and his enable have replaced conservatism with an empty faith lead by a bogus prophet.

When Trump first raised the idea Monday morning of emerging from the 13-foot gate that surrounds the White House, aides were skeptical.The logistics of any last-minute presidential movement are difficult even under normal circumstances, and these were anything but.

For three straight nights, protests around the 18-acre White House compound had turned volatile and fiery, at one point sending Trump into an underground bunker with his family. But Trump was determined to show he was still in charge and that the situation, at least outside his own front door, was under control.

As he conferred with top military brass at the White House over how to quell protests around the country, Trump said he wanted to make the walk to the nearby historic St. John’s Church, where a fire had been set in the basement the previous night. In the ensuing hours, White House officials hurried to make arrangements for the evening event, which ultimately devolved into a discordant and violent spectacle, with federal law enforcement agents clashing with protesters in Lafayette Square, a federally owned greenspace north of the White House.

In an effort to illustrate that it is not just Democrats and Independents who want Trump defeated, I have highlighted various Republican groups who have organized with a purpose to advocate for his defeat. The latest group is Republican Voters against Trump.

Yesterday, a famous conservative voice, George Will, has gone beyond just calling for Trump’s defeat. In an article called “One of America’s most prominent conservative columnists wants Republicans to lose in 2020,” by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large, Will’s comments are very indicting, as well as colorful. LANGUAGE OF THE UNHEARD

For almost 10 days, since the murder of George Floyd at the hands of four policemen in Minneapolis, MN, that nation has been rocked by mostly peaceful demonstrations which have spread from coast to coast.

The reactions to these protests have been many and quite different. Some join and march together, others kneel together, others loot and set fires in the name of the majority and the ‘head’ of the nation sics the military on peaceful protesters in the streets of Washington, DC.

I’m sure many are aware of these events.

I’ll leave MLK’s words which seem so apropos to the current times.

This time it feels different. This time it seems it will not abate.

Two days ago, after hiding in his bunker during the weekend when protesters where clamoring around the White House, #BunkerCoward decided to address the nation and then visit a ‘looted’ church across Lafayette Park in DC.

What ensued was a disgraceful display of violence, attempted domination of DC streets, gassing and ‘shooting’ of peacefully protesting American citizens on full daytime display on American TV.

And, it’s not only him … it’s the completely complicit GOP!

Seems to me (and I truly hope), it’s backfiring!

I found this video yesterday after its publication. To tell you the truth I was concerned to blogging about it because I found it strong in content and also in the context of the unrest and protests because of the murder of George Floyd.

I also looked up the original Apple ad to add context to it.

Today I’m over that feeling and I present it to you.

The Apple MacIntosh ad is included for comparison.

Anya Major performed as the unnamed heroine and David Graham as Big Brother. Its only U.S. daytime televised broadcast was on January 22, 1984 during and as part of the telecast of the third quarter of Super Bowl XVIII.

We are living in Trump’s dystopian nightmare, foreshadowed by his description of ‘American Carnage‘ during his Inauguration Address.

Trump’s admiration and emulation of dictators and despots has brought American democracy to its brink. This is a national nightmare we must all end by voting Trump out of office this November.

The video is inspired by the famous ‘1984‘ Apple Macintosh commercial which itself was an allusion to George Orwell‘s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

The 1984 Apple ad signified the end to conformity with the protagonist throwing a hammer at a screen depicting ‘Big Brother.’ Similarly, in our video, as Trump spews hate and dictatorial rhetoric, the hammer thrown at the screen signifies the end of the Trump regime and the end to this American nightmare.

The estate of George Orwell and the television rightsholder to the novel 1984 considered the commercial to be a flagrant copyright infringement, and sent a cease-and-desist letter to Apple and Chiat/Day in April 1984.

The commercial was never televised as a commercial after that.

Last Sunday, Donald Trump tweeted, “The United States of America will be designating ANTIFA as a Terrorist Organization.”

Trump’s tweet is more catnip for his base than policy. In fact, it’s not a policy because there is no real Antifa.

Conservatives love to say “antifa.” They don’t know what it means but they love it. They group all left-wing protesters in with Antifa and blame liberals for them. Antifa is a loose movement, not an organization. The people who usually describe themselves as Antifa often side with liberal ideals, like cops killing unarmed black men is wrong, but they engage in more hostile actions. While liberals want to elect better politicians and make policy changes, Antifa believes change only comes through anarchy and destruction. They break stuff and burn shit down.
