COMING BACK
Trying to identify and describe the images these two pictures evoke in me.
Arriving at the White House after a massive fail!
Who’s waiting up for him?
Pouty, spoiled brat, didn’t get his way. Bloated, sweaty, runny orange makeup, red trademark tie undone, unkempt, disheveled appearance. Defeated, deflated, dejected and rejected. Obese, pathetic lil man, weak, loser carrying his red symbol of his hate in his left hand.
#MAGA … #KAG
(A quick glance at the face on the left picture reminded me of Elvis during the end of his days on this earth.)
I have as much sympathy, empathy, compassion, caring, concern, interest, distress or worry for you as you’ve had for the Mexican people, the Muslim and LGBTQ communities, immigrants and their families, veterans and POWs, frontline workers, COVID patients, American citizens and the full spectrum of beings that make up the United States of America.
“Poor lil pathetic man. Let us remember that he never really wanted to actually be president, he just wanted to “win”. Now all the world sees him as loser.”
You winning now, Donald?

Trump Returns to White House Triumphantly after Tulsa Rally

Antonio Martorell reflects on various Puerto Rican artists in “The Window, the Balcony, the Door and the Gate: Glimpses into Puerto Rican Art in the Midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic,” published by ReVista (Harvard Review of Latin America).
In these times of pandemic, it’s necessary to reflect, to look at the past, to glimpse the future, that of the outside and the one on the inside too. For the Puerto Rican artist, that is not easy. Like artists from other latitudes, we have spent centuries trying to strike the balance of breaking down borders and strengthening identities. The political, social, geographic, racial, religious and economic barriers, the obstacles presented by gender, language and ideology are both our natural and constructed enemies. Our generation participated in the fall of the Berlin Wall and the building of a wall that aims to divide the United States from its neighbors to…

This made my day … “Trump and his campaign got rolled by TikTok users and fans of Korean pop music. What? A prank to register for tickets went viral by TikTok users which soon went over to K-Pop Twitter. Thousands of teens who haven’t been able to march and can’t vote protested by pranking the Trump campaign.”
Donald Trump promised us his Tulsa Rally would be like something no one has ever seen before. That did not turn out to be true because I’ve seen empty seats before. Now, where was it? Oh yeah. His rally in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2016. That room was only half full too.
Donald Trump held his first rally in three months in Tulsa, Oklahoma and it was supposed to be the energizing boost to restart his campaign. Despite being advised not to hold covidchella in a Tulsa petri dish, his plans moved forward. And expectations were high as campaign manager, for now, Brad Parscale boasted over 1 million people had signed up for tickets. 1 million people did not show up for Trump’s Saturday night hate rally but I do believe over a million laughed.
Oh, but Trump expected a million people to show up. Expectations were so high, the campaign…

I watched some; mostly the pundits … #Sad … “Don’t call it a comeback: Trump’s Tulsa rally was just another sad farce – The Guardian!”
Well, I know you’re all dying to know how Trump’s rally last night in Tulsa went. Here were some of the headlines …
I think it’s safe to say it wasn’t the grand slam event he and his campaign had predicted. The venue, capable of holding 19,000 people, was only half full. A campaign spokesman, Tim Murtaugh, blamed the low turnout on protestors …
“Sadly, protesters interfered with supporters, even blocking access…

THE AGONY OF DEFEAT
(THE WALK OF SHAME)
I know, I know … I wasn’t brought up to be petty, to be mean. However, this imbecile has earned every little bit of derision, demeaning, disdain, scorn and mockery that comes his way.
Permit us a tiny bit of glee to see him ‘put in his place’.
Here’s hoping that this continues. He deserves no more than this!
“When you don’t earn respect, you earn disdain, scorn and mockery!”
These pictures all speak for themselves!

TRUMP RALLY FAIL
I was concerned yesterday all day. I dreaded possible confrontations from the ‘Kool-Aid’ drinkers with the protestors in Tulsa on the Juneteenth Celebration remembering the Tulsa Massacre.
I wasn’t planning on watching the news yesterday. A friend messaged me about the turnout and then I was ‘caught’. I had to go watch the events on TV. Mind you, I didn’t watch him … I listened to the reporters and pundits.
This morning I woke up to awesome confirmation of what I saw.
#TrumpRallyFail … so sweet!!
Take a look.

Trump is “furious” at the “underwhelming” crowd at his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday evening, a major disappointment for what was expected to be a raucous return to the campaign trail after a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to multiple people close to the White House.
The campaign was so confident about high turnout that it set up an overflow area that was expected to attract thousands. But that plan was scrapped last-minute when only dozens gathered at the time the vice president and president were set to address the crowd before the official rally inside.
“This was a major failure,” one outside adviser said.

Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma was hyped as a defiant return to form for the flailing President. But instead, it ended up being a complete and total embarrassment. With fewer than 6,200 people in attendance, crowds bored to death and a shut down overflow area, Trump’s rally was one of the biggest fails in history.

FATHER’S DAY 2020
On this day, I celebrate the best Dad ever: my Dad. I’m sure many think the same about their fathers.
Mine was special: he created me, he fed me, he clothed me, he protected me, he educated me, he made me what I am as a human being. He gave me values and ethics. He gave me the gift of humor, mischievousness and the gift of instigator.
He’s not physically with me but he’s with me all the time: in my mind, my heart, my memories, my DNA and my features.
I’m this man’s proud daughter!
Forever PEPO!!
