If you have to think about which choice is the best, you are part of the problem. When Hillary was a candidate they always said ‘the lesser of two evils‘.
Does that apply now?
Even it it did (in my humble opinion it doesn’t), the choice is clear. Trump has made it totally clear with his awful mismanagement of the COVI-19 pandemic and the civil unrest in the streets of America.
The Lincoln Project is an American political action committee formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans. The goal of the committee is to prevent the reelection of Trump in the 2020 presidential election.
Biden is the clear choice when it comes to compassionate and decent leadership. In a battle of heart, mind, and character Joe Biden wins by a landslide. We need to ensure that’s reflected in the vote this November.
There’s so much beauty … and that’s what we need now!! … “But it helps me remember – I need to remember. Sometimes, there’s so much beauty in the world – I feel like I can’t take it, like my heart is just going to cave in.” Wes Bentley [Ricky Fitts] American Beauty (1999) Written by Alan Ball. Directed by Sam Mendes.
Do you want to see the most beautiful thing I’ve ever filmed? It was one of those days when it’s a minute away from snowing, and there’s this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was just, dancing with me, like a little kid beggin’ me to play with it – for fifteen minutes. And that’s the day I realized that there was this entire life behind things, and this incredibly benevolent force that wanted me to know that there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video’s a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember – I need to remember. Sometimes, there’s so much beauty in the world – I feel like I can’t take it, like my heart is just going to cave in.

In total agreement … Another desperate rally for hate!! …”Trump is not my president, for he hates me, hates what I stand for, hates my values. In my book, the United States has no president, only an ignorant demagogue.” — he never was and never will!!
I really want to ignore Trump’s incoherent babbling as much as possible these days, but some things he said last night at his small rally in Phoenix, Arizona, stirred my ire to the point that I could not simply ignore them. Okay, we know he lies, lies, and then lies some more, but the mischaracterization of people in the Democratic Party was just so far off base that, even though I am an independent, not a registered Democrat, I was incensed by the falsehood, and more incensed that the audience cheered him. Take a look at just a few, with my own comments in blue …
“We’re here today to declare that we will never cave to the left wing and the left-wing intolerance.” Intolerance? Intolerance of what? Democrats are not the racists, not the homophobes who would deny the LGBT community the right to choose their own life…
Wow!! It was 1969 when I met MJ!! I was 19 years at the time! Though not military, I know the feeling … raised Catholic!! Eventually life took me to work at the VA … yes, “It’s not perfect, but BABY WE’VE COME A LONG WAY!”
“VA recognizes that Veterans are composed of diverse populations with unique needs and is committed to serving all with dignity and respect. June marks LGBT Pride month and provides an opportunity to shine a light on how VA supports the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Here we focus on Veterans who identify as transgender.” VA RECOGNIZES PRIDE
In 1969 I was investigated by ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) for alleged ‘homosexual’ behavior. I faced a dishonorable discharge if found guilty. My legal counsel provided by the Navy advised that I deny the charge, “Don’t admit to anything.”
A few months earlier I had been admitted as a surgery patient to the Philadelphia Naval Hospital, my duty station. The night prior to surgery I was administered a drug which I was told would help me to relax and sleep. (I later learned that it was sodium pentothal.) Waking up…
