Prince Ea: “COVID-19 Education Dilema …. 🏫 ‘Don’t Go Back To School 2020’ 🏫 …. “!!

THE SCHOOL CONUNDRUM

Time doesn’t stop for anyone or anything. Most of us have been ‘staying at home’ since early March 2020. School last year was completed virtually … meaning kids were also ‘staying at home’.

The education system (as well as the government) had plenty time to figure out how school would begin in the fall. Time has come and gone and we are all, as a nation, in the same spot as when ‘virtual learning’ began.

The powers that be are greedy and want kids in school, in spite of the insecurities about COVID-19. They will protect their own but not ours.

Take a look and think about it!

What would you do if you had kids?

We’re still in a COVID19 Pandemic (especially in the US), so unless the safety of teachers and students is guaranteed, skip school.

My Internal Medicine specialty was completed in 1979. Worked for Puerto Rico's health system until 1985. At this time, I'm happily retired after working for the federal government for almost 28yrs. I want to offer any knowledge that I have to anyone "out there" who is interested. My views are liberal in almost every sense. My knowledge is "eclectic" - a bit of everything. Music and reading are my passion. Blogging has also become a very interesting endeavor. Metaphysical topics attract me. I'm interested in news reporting human issues like injustice, discrimination and abuse - the "wrongly" affected. My intention is to bring this knowledge to an understandable level and to help anyone in need. I'm open to questions and will answer them to the best of my ability. Currently working on an enterprise whose main mission will be to bring peoples of all walks of life together. To be one .... since we ALL are ONE!! The future looks bright and promising!!!

  1. Finally the voice of reason! My grandson will be home schooled most of the time this year — unless things have changed drastically by then. The Gov. is asking all Kentuckians to keep their kids at home and for the school districts to use virtual classrooms, but as usual, too many people think they are losing some of their rights if their kids aren’t sent into a deadly situation as this is turning out to be in other states. Some schools in Georgia have had to shut down after hundreds of kids tested positive for the virus. So what are they actually teaching them? That they are expendable? That parents don’t really care as long as they aren’t under their feet? That they themselves have no rights? Why not just let them play in the streets? At least they would die faster and more mercifully than if they get the virus and then have to deal with the after effects for the rest of their lives. Remember polio? Iron Lungs? Crippled limbs? Hey, I didn’t say I would always make sense here, but I remember that pandemic from my childhood and the friends who were crippled for life if they didn’t die from the disease. This one is even worse than HIV because it is spread through the air, not direct contact with bodily fluids. Anybody want to throw their kids into a puddle of bodily fluids and take their chances with that? Big sigh! What has happened to accountability and taking care of your families?

    • πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ I remember all of that. I have 4 grandkids. 2 are staying at home. The other two, the parents are sending to school. Let’s see how long the school stays open … remember, we are in FloriDUH!! 😑

      • Kentucky is catching up with Florida according to some of the latest reports out of the Governor’s office. I was tested this morning after a “friend” bulled her way into my apartment and hugged me a couple of weeks ago. Some slight symptoms, but probably psychological in origin. I only have one grandkid still in school, and both his parents are teachers — dad with a doctorate and mom with two masters, so the only class they are concerned with is the welding class, one of his favorites and not a bit that can be taught at home. Of course, either of my sons could teach him a lot about welding, having learned from their dad at very early ages, but he wouldn’t get the credit for that. Poor city kid! He has no idea what he missed when my daughter moved away from the farm.
