DEDICATED TO POLYNESIA
It’s Monday. I’m looking for Momoa information and found this clip.
Jason Momoa tears up in powerful Haka dedicated to the people of Polynesia.
Before beginning the Haka with his 11-year-old daughter Lola and 9-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf, Jason gave an emotional speech and dedicated his role to the Polynesian people on Dec 24, 2018.
How can one not simply love this guy without reservations?

This is one of the greatest moments of my life. I’m so honored to play this role because it represents all of us, all of Polynesia.
“I’m honored to combine land and sea. We are the seafaring, we are the people.” Hear his touching words above, and stick around for the ever-intense Haka.

The haka is a ceremonial dance or challenge in Māori culture. It is performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment.
Polynesia is generally defined as the islands within the Polynesian Triangle, although some islands inhabited by Polynesian people are situated outside the Polynesian Triangle. Geographically, the Polynesian Triangle is drawn by connecting the points of Hawaii, New Zealand, and Easter Island.

We as Polynesians are not separated by land but we are all connected by water and that is who we truly are.
