Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles …. “🗽 ’Do What You Can’ 🗽 …. “!!

~~October 7, 2020~~

These days have been taxing, stressful, scary … we are socially distant.

New York was initially very hard hit. It seems that they are rounding the corner in spite of some recent flare ups.

Jon Bon Jovi created this song, expressing the feelings of these months during the pandemic. COVID-10 has really affected the lives of many.

Here’s inspiring talent in good use.

Together is the only way to make it!

Bon Jovi has again teamed with Jennifer Nettles, frontwoman of the country band Sugarland, this time for an updated version of “Do What You Can.”

The single, originally released by Bon Jovi back in April, details America’s ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. With lyrics discussing social distance, PPE and frontline responders, the song touches on many topics which have become commonplace in 2020 society. Still, “Do What You Can” strikes an uplifting tone, it’s chorus praising the unbreakable human spirit:

Jennifer Odessa Nettles (born September 12, 1974) is an American singer, songwriter, actress and record producer.

She is the lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush, and prior to this she fronted the Atlanta-based bands Soul Miner’s Daughter and Jennifer Nettles Band. She also charted as a duet partner on the country version of rock band Bon Jovi‘s 2006 single “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” a Number One hit on the Billboard country chart.
