Shat In The Hat

Six Dr. Seuss books will not be published anymore for containing racist images. Unfortunately, Republicans are continuing to put members on the Senate Judiciary Committee despite their being racists and terrorists sympathizers.
While Fox News and other conservatives, and even some liberals, have called the pulling of the Dr. Seuss titles “cancel culture,” the decision was made by the company that owns and publishes the books. None of the titles is a big classic, like “The Cat in the Hat,” or, “The Lorax,” but they did pull “The Racist Senator who started a Riot then fled to Cancun while Texas froze and made his daughters scapegoats.”
The company overseeing the legacy of Dr. Seuss believes that removing these books will preserve his legacy. You know, by hiding a portion of his legacy. Theodor Seuss Geisel, the author who created Dr. Seuss and classics like “Green Eggs and Ham”, considered himself…

Whimsical Wednesday
Wow, so very badly needed!! … “Due to the increase of attacks on Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders by ignorant, hateful people, the studio has decided to make the first animated short featuring Filipino-Americans widely available.”
I have been wanting to share the beautiful animated short, Float, with all of you since it debuted on Disney Plus in November 2019. Unfortunately, until now, you had to be a subscriber to the streaming service to watch it in its entirety. Due to the increase of attacks on Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders by ignorant, hateful people, the studio has decided to make the first animated short featuring Filipino-Americans widely available. After the film I encourage you to also watch how it came about. It’s quite inspiring.

Mmm, tasty and crunchy!! … “The camel gnawing on a prickly pear cactus. The animals’ tough, flexible lips move over the food, and each half of their split upper lips wiggle independently to get close to the vegetation. As you might be able to imagine, the six-inch needles on the cactus make the plant difficult to chew. So, the inside of a camel’s mouth is lined with raised, cone-shaped structures called papillae.” … and more!!

The animals’ tough, flexible lips move over the food, and each half of their split upper lips wiggle independently to get close to the vegetation. As you might be able to imagine, the six-inch needles on the cactus make the plant difficult to chew. So, the inside of a camel’s mouth is lined with raised, cone-shaped structures called papillae. Papillae can be found in the mouths, internal cheeks, and tongues of some species, and they manipulate food to flow in one direction, generally toward the stomach.
