I truly don’t know how this is going to end well … I’m quite concerned!! .Sad to say I wasn’t aware of any of this in detail during the Obama administration.Guess I wasn’t paying attention! – ” If you ever had any doubts before, let me clarify that this is no longer Abraham Lincoln’s government “… of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
That concept has been dead for a while now, largely since we elected a Black man to lead the nation, not once but twice. If you have any doubt that most of what the Republican’s are attempting has its basis in racism, put those doubts to bed. Almost everything they support would take this nation back into the Jim Crow era.”
I have always believed that in order for democratic processes to work properly, we need two viable political parties. It just makes sense … in theory, it leads to a meshing of ideas and results in compromise that is good for the nation, good for the people. It also ensures that no one person or party will hijack the power of the federal government, turning it into an autocracy. Today, those two parties are so polarized that they are destroying the nation and the people are paying the price. I guess the keyword in my first sentence is ‘viable’. I don’t believe the Republican Party of today is a viable party, certainly they are not representative of the people of the United States, nor do they any longer even pretend to represent us. One case in point …
Just over a week ago, on March 11th, President Biden…
There’s a similar looking one in Puerto Rico – called ‘Gilligan’s Island – memories!! … “DK @ Daybreak. 6:59 am, March 18, 2021. 32° F, feels like 21° F, wind gusts up to 36 mph. Rowayton Beach, Norwalk, CT.”
Rand Paul is a certified POS!! No doubt … “Yesterday’s exchange between Paul and Fauci wasn’t the first. And for Fauci’s sake, I hope it’s the last. Dr. Fauci is the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical advisor to the president and it’s beneath him to have to argue science with the likes of Rand Paul, who is a self-certified eye doctor.”
Normally, when Rand Paul gets his ass kicked, it’s in a political debate. In 2017, he literally got his ass kicked by one of his neighbors in his gated community in Kentucky.
Reportedly, the scuffle was over yard work and Paul claimed he was ambushed from behind right after he got off his riding lawnmower. His attacker was five-foot-six and weighed about 140 pounds (which would be like getting attacked by a 13-year-old boy), and left Rand Paul with six broken ribs.
Tim Pritts, a doctor at the University of Cincinnati Medical School (who didn’t treat Paul) said six broken ribs is “more consistent with a car accident, or a fall down a flight of stairs, or even from the top of a building.” He said, “I’ve seen a few from people getting kicked by horses.” Rand Paul did not get kicked by a horse, or a cow, or a…
Yep, tell me about it! Hit the 70s … jeez!! Nothing is working the way is was before. Creaks and weid noises heard and soreness in places I didn’t know I had!
