One year before his dead Frank Kafka had an extraordinary experience.

Having a walk through Steglitz Park, in Berlin, he found a little girl crying heartbroken. She had lost her doll. To calm her down Frank introduced himself as the Dolls’s Postman, and told the little girl that the doll was away on a trip. But had send a letter for her that will be delivered by himself the following day.

For three weeks Frank focused exclusively on the doll’s letters that he handed on every day to the girl. Nobody has ever known who was that little girl and what happened with the letters. Awarded with the National Award for Children’s Literature in 2007, Kafka and the traveling doll has already become a classic of the Spanish literature.

I still have to think a bit about this. I first learn about this because Gov. Kristi Noem, from wherever she hails, was ranting against this on Twitter yesterday. Today I started looking.

Here’s the gist of it … I think it’s a mater of to each his own and maybe this is a stunt to be in the spolight – for both Noem and Lil Nas X!!

Rapper Lil Nas X takes heat for launching 666 custom Nike human blood ‘Satan’ trainers range

Rapper Lil Nas X is facing criticism after he launched a limited edition “Satan shoes” range, with each one containing a drop of human blood.

The song’s video features the star dancing provocatively with the devil, before seemingly killing him and taking the underworld crown for himself.

Lil Nas X, real name Montero Lamar Hill, is spotted wearing the trainers in the video, and will now release a limited run of them in collaboration with MSCHF, which is know for its quirky art drops.

The black and red Nike Air Max 97s feature a pentagram on top, with a reference to the bible verse “Luke 10:18” on the side – which says:

“He replied, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven’.”

The run of 666 shoes each contains “one drop” of human blood, and will be priced at $1,018 when they go on sale on Monday – March 29!!

I have excellent timing. Minutes after finishing up this cartoon and while creating different file types of it for my clients, The New York Times sent me a notification that the ship blocking the Suez Canal for the past five days has finally been freed (I made that sound like I’m really important because the NYT sent me a notification, but it’s an app on my phone).

In case you’re a Republican, the Suez Canal is in Egypt. It’s a vital artery for the world’s shipping and economy. Think of it like a short cut between the Atlantic Ocean, after going through the Mediterranean Sea, to the Indian Ocean. It beats having to go around Africa. In case you’re a Republican, Africa is a continent, not a country.

While salvage crews were digging and tug boats were tugging , it was the moon that came through with the final push…
