I’ll just leave this here!! … “There’s irony in Derek Chauvin having his mama ask for leniency after he refused it to George Floyd who was crying for his mama. Mamas, don’t raise your babies to be murderous cops.”



Former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin was sentenced to 22 and a half years yesterday for the murder of George Floyd. Chauvin pressed his knee into the neck of George Floyd for over nine minutes while he screamed, “I can’t breathe” more than 20 times and cried for his mama.

Prosecutors wanted Chauvin to be sentenced 30 years. Chauvin’s lawyers wanted him to only receive time-served and some light probation. Maybe Chauvin could have picked up trash on the interstate for a couple of weeks and then we could have called it even. Sorry, Derek, but no.

Chauvin must have cried for his mama too because she spoke at his sentencing. She asked for leniency and said news media and prosecutors had painted a distorted picture of her son. No, Mama Chauvin.
