Dudley of the Afghan Mounted Police

Just got to meet/hear about Dudley, Snidely and Nell … but boy, do they sound familiar — as if I’ve known them for at least 20years!!

Okay, think of it like this. Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties is just standing around minding his own business and looking handsome, when Snidely Whiplash walks up to him and smacks him in the jaw. WTF, right?

Dudley is bigger and tougher and handsomer than Snidely; ain’t no way he’s gonna let Snidely get away with smacking him in the jaw. He goes to Snidely’s house and starts kicking the shit out of him. Nell Fenwick, Snidely’s sorta girlfriend, encourages Dudley, saying Snidely’s mean to her, never lets her drive his buggy and is always tying her to railroad tracks and shit. Even more reason for Dudley to kick Snidely’s ass.

Nell says, “Dudley, don’t kill him. Make him suffer. Take his buggy. He loves that buggy. He never let me drive it. Take it and give it to me. That’ll piss him off, it’ll give me more freedom, and…

Mr. Taliban Head

There are so many ‘basking’ in a sea of willful ignorance!! … “The Taliban did not win an election. The people of Afghanistan did NOT choose the Taliban. For that matter, the government that was chased out was only slightly less conservative than the Taliban. Both sides create laws guided by their religious fundamentalism. This was not a battle between conservatives and progressives.”

Tucker Carlson has a nightly TV show in prime time where he offers his opinions on anything and everything despite the fact he has no real word experience at anything. Tucker especially fails at grasping foreign relations and the military. This trust-fund baby barely survived prep school and even got kicked out of one in Switzerland, probably for being too white.

None of that stops Tucker from being Tucker. Even if Tucker was capable of understanding complex matters, he’d still use the fall of Afghanistan as ammunition for his favorite cause, hating progressivism, which he also seems to know nothing about. Yes, Tucker is blaming the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban on wokeness.

First, when liberals speak of being “woke,” they’re being sarcastic. It’s kind of a way to mock conservatives who mock liberals, or just empathetic people for being openminded. Woke is another culture war brand like cancel…

Live & Learn

You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage.  Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.

My Momoa Monday Moment …. “🌺 ‘Sweet Girl Movie – Official Trailer’ 🌺 …. “!!

~~August 23, 2021~~

It’s Monday, you know what that means for me – Momoa Moment. I was waiting for today to post about this movie. It came out on Netflix last Friday, August 20. Of course, I tuned in and watched it as soon as it came out.

I have to say I’m partial to Jason … so I loved the movie. There was a twist in the end that I didn’t expect but if you want to know you will have to watch the movie.

It’s thrilling action all of the time!

You can immediately see why Jason Momoa not only signed up to play the lead in the action-revenge thriller “Sweet Girl” but also executive-produced it.

It’s a sprawling, bruising, sometimes convoluted, often emotionally exhausting drama with action sequences stitched into it. It’s about a man trying to get revenge for his wife’s death from cancer at the hands of a depraved and indifferent pharmaceutical company while his daughter (Isabela Merced) is pulled along by the currents of his rage.

(From a movie critic that I don’t want to name because the rest of his review doesn’t express what I feel. This is just the gist of the storyline.)
