EXACTLY!! … “This is a big deal. This isn’t like one of those times where North Carolina, Alabama, or Kentucky tampers with a constitutional right only to have a court step in and slap it down. This infringement on a constitutional right in Texas will probably stand. No, it’s not going to stand because it’s right. It’ll stand because it’s wrong and we allowed a racist orange idiotic imbecile installed by a Russian dictator to have three picks for the Supreme Court. We even let the Republican Party and the orange idiot steal two of them.”

This is a big deal. This isn’t like one of those times where North Carolina, Alabama, or Kentucky tampers with a constitutional right only to have a court step in and slap it down. This infringement on a constitutional right in Texas will probably stand. No, it’s not going to stand because it’s right. FIRST THEY CAME … THEY ARE COMING FOR MORE

This is a well known poem which has been used to describe many real life situations.

“is the poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984).”

Today ‘DeeTwoCents‘ applies it to the current American reality. And I add, they are coming for my demographics: educated woman, Latina, retired senoir citizen and proud LGBTQ member.

And some said I was over-reacting in November 2016. I knew this was coming, I know there’s more on the way!!

TRUE LOVE STORY

This is my ‘brother from another mother‘ – Martin. I ‘met’ him throught the wonderful world of blogging. This is his late wife Lidja – she was gone too soon.

He shared with me this photo … it’s part of an open air exhibition in Utrecht, where he lives.

I’m so happy for him – I know what this truly means for him and his forever love.
