BURJERIA CON CHILI

Olga Tañón is one of my favorite singers in the whole wide world. First of all, I’m biased … she’s BORICUA … meaning she from Puerto Rico.

She has slowly and steadily climbed the ladder of singing success and is beloved by her countrymen as well as many Hispanics in our culture. She’s an icon, she’s beautiful, she’s talented, she’s kind, she’s down to earth … and she’s amazing!

Totally beautiful outside as well as inside!

She has been working on a tribute for a Puerto Rican musical institution – El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.

Yesterday, she dropped her video for the first song that she’s been producing. So far, it’s only a ‘sound video’. She then posteda the visual video. Here you will find both of them. Enjoy the sound, the rhythm, the musicality and let your feet move a bit!!!

Olga Tañón rinde homenaje a El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico en su nuevo álbum

La artista lanzará este mes un proyecto tributo a los “Mulatos del sabor”.

La cantante Olga Tañón cumplió uno de sus sueños al interpretar y producir éxitos de El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico en honor a la “Universidad de la salsa”.

La intérprete puertorriqueña se prepara para lanzar el próximo 15 de octubre una nueva versión en merengue de los clásicos “Brujería” y “Achilipu”, temas popularizados por los “Mulatos del sabor”. La agrupación que nació en mayo de 1962 bajo el liderado de Rafael Ithier recibirá un homenaje musical en voz de la merenguera que siempre ha admirado la orquesta embajadora de Puerto Rico en el mundo.

La versión de la artista se titula “Brujería con chili”.

La nueva versión es un adelanto del álbum “Tañón Pal’ Combo… Es Lo Que Hay”, un homenaje a El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico y al fundador del grupo Rafael Itier, quien cumplió recientemente 95 años. La producción incluirá seis temas “Arroz con habichuelas”, “Brujería”, “No hay cama pa’ tanta gente”, “Jala Jala”, “Achilipu”, y “Los tenis”.

PLEASE!! … “During a rally for Youngkin on Wednesday, which Youngkin said, “I wasn’t involved,” a bunch of his supporters pledged allegiance to a flag they claimed was at the January 6 insurrection to overthrow an election and install Donald Trump as a fascist dictator. Youngkin said, “we shouldn’t pledge allegiance to that flag. And oh by the way, I’ve been so clear, there is no place for violence — none, none — in America today.” Yeah, Glenn, except you’re a Republican.”

The Republican candidate for Virginia’s governorship said it was “weird and wrong” for a bunch of his supporters to pledge allegiance with a flag supposedly from the January 6 white nationalist terrorist attack on our capitol building. Well, Glenn, they’re your people. They’re your supporters. They just also happen to support insurrection, overthrowing an election, installing a fascist dictator, white nationalism, terrorism, and killing cops. You wonder if this was one of the flags that was on a pole used to beat cops.
