THE MAKING OF SANDY GIRL

This ‘adventure’ began during a visit to Frankford, DE in 2015.

Sandy was just a ‘slab’ of wood. She was almost thrown out because the wife didn’t really like the original creation. Someone asked me to change her and maker her more ‘palatable’!

This is only the face, the eyes, the lips and the accessories.

It was really a fun ‘chore/project’.

Facebook Name Change

There’s a saying in Spanish, literal translation – ‘same shyte on another stick’!! … “Facebook has come under fire recently from a whistleblower’s leak of the company’s own studies that shows it profited off hate, bullying, harassment, body-shaming on Instagram, and conspiracy theories. While Facebook may argue that it took a lot of steps to discourage this stuff from happening, they didn’t really do a lot to stop it.”

Fun fact: When Coca-Cola changed it’s formula back in the 1980s and introduced New Coke, they did actually change something. It did taste different. Nobody would argue that it was the same. Of course, the new taste sucked and the outrage was so severe that Coca-Cola went back to the old formula, but at least they did more than just change the name.

It should also be noted that New Coke was just as corrosive to acid on car batteries as Coke Classic. And we except New Facebook to be just as corrosive to society as Old Facebook.
