Tuesday Thoughts …. “🇵🇷 ‘Puerto Rico – In Continued Turmoil’ 🇵🇷 …. “!!

~~Septembe 6, 2022~~

Back in the summer of 2019, Boricuas took to the streets, to demand that, the then governor Ricky Roselló, resign from the top governing post in the Island. The people were successful …. the guy left!!

What came after Ricky, was another PNP puppet, Wanda Vázquez, another unfit leader. This was followed by the November 2020 elections when Pedro Pierluisi, another pro-statehood candidate, was ‘elected’.

His tenure hasn’t been easy for the people of Puerto Rico.

They are, once again taking to the streets!!

Persistent power outages and threats from Puerto Rico’s government prompted the company to announce that it would dedicate more resources and crews to improve service

After a week in which hundreds of thousands of citizens and one of the most important private hospitals in the San Juan metro area were left without electricity, on Monday, August 25, the singer René Pérez, also known as Residente, called for a protest against the power company LUMA. ~~SOURCE~~

Sympathy for the Symphony

THIS!! I’m so sick of them! … “You can’t whine that someone’s rhetoric is divisive to the nation while you’re trying to burn it down.”

I blogged some roughs this morning, made a YouTube video of them being drawn, wrote this cartoon, then drew it, and now it’s after 3 p.m. on a Sunday. So, I’m taking the rest of the day off which means you’re not getting a real column in today’s blog. However…

I don’t want to hear fascist Republican goons who have spent the past two years with the most immature and incompetent insult whine about President Biden being divisive. You can’t whine that someone’s rhetoric is divisive to the nation while you’re trying to burn it down.

See ya’ll tomorrow, kids.

Creative note: Proofreader Laura asked me why some of the music notes are backward. No reason really other than to change things up and be goofy. I’ve always done that with musical notes in cartoons and never thought about it until now. It also shows just how horrible the music…
