This Video About Worry Will Really Make You Think

“Can you allow your mind to be quiet?”

Once you’ve learned to think you can’t stop. And an enormous number of people devote their lives to keeping their minds busy and feel extremely uncomfortable with silence.”

If that sounds familiar, take a moment to really listen to what Watts has to say.

Revolting #IceBucketChallenge …. abusive and criminal!!

Mom

~~September 6, 2014~~

There is always someone…. a smart-ass who messes things up for others.

Timothy J. McGinty: Prosecute students who covered autistic boy with feces and urine.”

~Ice Bucket Challenge takes a horrifying turn‏~

“Once we found out about it, we were just horrified,” said Diane, the mother of the Bay High School student. She claimed her youngest son was videotaped as feces, urine, spit and cigarette butts were dumped on his head by a group of juveniles.

“I want these kids held accountable for what they did to him and they targeted somebody who just didn’t really understand what was going on,” she said.

Mom4

In Bay Village, Ohio, a group of high school students tricked their 14-year-old autistic classmate into doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Instead of filling the bucket with ice water they filled it with feces, urine, spit and cigarette butts and dumped the bucked from a roof onto the special needs teen.

This is a horrific act of degradation and violence.  It is so harmful and hurtful to that young man and his family and also to the people who know about this.  Not only did this group of people damage such a wonderful fundraiser, but they exploited it and this young man past the point of redemption.

This was so premeditated, that it is sickening.

Mom2

Thankfully, through the internet and social media, we can make others aware of this heinous crime, and hopefully put a stop to any (if not all) of these atrocities that are happening in our back yards to our family, friends and neighbors. But more importantly put a stop to and defend those who cannot defend themselves.

These criminals have hit the heart of all that we hold dear.  Disabled children are often picked on and bullied.  But these people obviously set this poor boy up for something that not only could make him extremely ill, but has also humiliated humanity and those who just want to help.

Classmates dump bucket allegedly full of feces, urine on teen with autism in ALS Challenge ‘prank’

~~Published on Sep 3, 2014~~

According to the victim’s mom, Diane, the video was discovered on her 15-year-old son’s cell phone. She, along with her husband and other son, Jacob, wants it to be made public.

“I mean, the first thing that popped into my mind was like, why could someone – how could someone do this?” said Jacob. “How could someone really be this cruel to someone?”

In the video, the boy with autism is seen standing in the driveway of a home off school grounds. He’s wearing only his underwear as a bucket of fluid is poured from the roof of the garage. The bucket allegedly contained a mix of bodily fluids instead of ice water.

“He was embarrassed because he did not know what the contents were until afterwards and then he didn’t want anybody to know,” said his mom. “They used his phone to tape it and they put it up on Instagram.”

“This is just too far. It’s really bad,” said his brother, Jacob.

Bully

“The bucket challenge is supposed to be raising awareness for this disease and now they’ve turned it into a sick joke,” said the victim’s mom. “I just can’t understand why kids would do something this cruel.”

The boy’s mom and dad wanted the video released to make other parents aware of bullying so they’ll have a conversation with their kids on how to treat people.

Billy Crystal …. Tribute for Robin Williams – Emmys 2014!!

ROBIN WILLIAMS … WHAT A CONCEPT!

“Billy Crystal opened a touching tribute to Robin Williams at the Primetime Emmy Awards Monday night, August 25, 2014,  with an anecdote about the two going to a Reds-Mets game in 1989 and joining Tim McCarver and Whoopi Goldberg in the broadcast booth.

“Robin, Whoopi and I once were in Shea Stadium in the broadcast booth with the great Tim McCarver. It was “Comic Relief Day” for the New York Mets. Robin knew nothing about baseball. I asked him, “What’s your favorite team?” And he said, “The San Franciscos.”

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mind
And you were on my mind
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

So I went to the corner
Just to ease my pains
Yeah, just to ease my pains
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I came home again

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mi-i-i-ind and
You were on my mind
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

And I got a feelin’
Down in my sho-oo-oo-oes, said
Way down in my sho-oo-oes
Yeah, I got to ramble, whoa-oh
I got to move on, whoa-oh
I got to walk away my blues

When I woke up this morning
You were on my mind
You were on my mind
I got troubles, whoa-oh
I got worries, whoa-oh
I got wounds to bind

The judgement of Robin Williams …. who is anyone to judge??

RFaces

~~August 13, 2014~~

I’m very much aware that much has been written, reported, discussed, argued about Robin Williams’ recent death. The airwaves, the blogosphere and the news have taken to reporting the death of this great talent.

Many are already tired of this topic, others have spoken in ways that show callousness and insensitivity about his passing. I must say I am a fan, I grew up with this man’s creative genius and his work played a part in my life.

Knowing that he’s not here anymore and knowing about his daily battle with depression makes me sad.

Like many, I will miss him ….

“Some people are being judgmental and rude in the unfortunate passing of the great Robin Williams and it’s really upsetting how people can try to make themselves seem superior even in his and his family’s pain.

Sometimes we take take and take and forget to refill, replace and/or replenish. If there was a well full of water, and you were thirsty, you would most likely drink from this well everyday until the well ran dry. I mean what’s the point in having access to all this water if we can’t enjoy it right? No harm no foul. Or so we think. People do this with people too. I understand that sensation of being drained and pulled in every direction and left dry. I know many people who deal with that daily and I know of people who take selfishly daily too.

To feel more lonely in a room full of people than when you’re by yourself, no one understands this?

Robin Williams gave and gave and gave and when you’re the life of the party, the one with that great warm and inviting smile and everyone expects for you to be the entertainment, who entertains him? Who replenishes his spirit and energy? Although many of us feel a certain way in regards to suicide and feel it’s a very selfish act, whether it is or not, many people who do commit suicide are plagued with a very sad and hard mental illness they can’t control.

Fame, money and fans doesn’t equal complete bliss, peace and happiness. Don’t be so quick to say he had it all.

Featured Image -- 65364

Robin Williams made several statements and was quoted for years and if you read or listened to what he was consistent with, this poor man was sick for a long time and was honest about his depression and loneliness. Maybe his cries for help? We don’t really know. Maybe he was as funny and genius in his talent and gave his all to his craft and us because that was when he felt loved and appreciated the most or not alone.

I don’t condone suicide or any life being taken in any form, but I think we all can understand in some capacity, whether small or big, the feeling of being alone or feeling like no one understands. Instead of condemning this man, let’s remember his legacy, his legend, his genius, his talent, his contribution to making you laugh and smile when you were down and out and allow his family to grieve without your harsh comments and judgements.

You never know what people are going through and people don’t always know what you’re going through. Be there for your loved ones and let them be there for you.

Reciprocate and have gratitude for great people in your life.”

By David Edwards

Fox News host Shepard Smith on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, asserted that actor Robin Williams was “such a coward” for allegedly committing suicide.

At the conclusion of a touching special report that aired just hours after Williams died, Smith seemed to become almost angry while thinking about the actor’s children.
