When we moved to Florida in 1999, we first lived in Jacksonville. As we got settled and accustomed to the city, we started venturing out. We we looking for a spiritual place where we could connect to Spirit and Source again.
Both of us had become distant to the church teachings that we had grown up with. We were searching. There was “something” calling us.
I’m a strong believer in synchronicity. I also believe without doubt that people come into our lives because it’s meant to be. They come into our lives to teach us, to leave a mark and to make us better.
We found The Cosmic Church of Truth and became active participants in their activities.
After our move to Central Florida, we stayed in touch with Mary and Jimmy.
The blessed Angelika and Connor.
They came to our reception.
Tomorrow we are headed to Jacksonville because Mary and Jimmy, ordained ministers, will perform a ceremony where we will be married in this church.
This is a very special occasion for us.
One that is difficult to put in words.
We will be married in the Church on May 17, 2015!!!

The Thrill is gone
Blues legend B.B. King died peacefully in his sleep Thursday night, May 14, 2015, at his home in Las Vegas. He was 89. King won 15 Grammy Awards, released more than 50 albums, sold millions of records worldwide and was inducted into both the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. King performed more than 100 shows a year into his 80’s and was a mentor to countless musicians including Eric Clapton.
He’s perhaps best known for his song “The Thrill is Gone.”

Riley B. King (September 16, 1925 – May 14, 2015), known by his stage name B.B. King, was an American blues singer, songwriter and guitarist.
Rolling Stone ranked King number 6 on its 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time (previously ranked number 3 in the 2003 edition of the same list). He was ranked No. 17 in Gibson’s “Top 50 Guitarists of All Time“. According to Edward M. Komara, King “introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed.”
King was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
He is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, earning the nickname “The King of the Blues“, and one of the “Three Kings of the Blues Guitar” (along with Albert King and Freddie King).
King was also known for performing tirelessly throughout his musical career, appearing at more than 200 concerts per year on average into his 70’s. In 1956, he reportedly appeared at 342 shows.
In 1990, King was awarded the National Medal of Arts by President George H.W. Bush. In 2006, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential blues guitarists of all time, inspiring countless other electric blues and blues rock guitarists.

Armik, a prolific composer of bravura guitar works, enjoys great popularity around the world.
Launching his solo career in 1994, Armik drew upon his jazz roots and flamenco passions to create a revolutionary twist on the emerging Nuevo flamenco sound. His invaluable compositions and performances cover an entire range of provocative melodies honed throughout his formative years to his delicate balancing of flamenco and classical guitar to the Latin and jazz influences that listeners hear in his music today.
As a guitarist, he is one of the most adulated virtuosos of the Nuevo Flamenco genre, having attained this stature by virtue of his commanding presence among Billboard Magazine’s Top Ten New Age Artists of 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Armik was born in Iran of Armenian descent. When he was just seven years old, he pawned his watch for a classical guitar, which he hid and practiced on in the basement. Formal music lessons followed and Armik completed a rigid instructional regimen in just two years. At 12, he was a professional recording artist.
While his early career focused mostly on jazz, Armik discovered the beauty and passion of Flamenco while visiting Spain during the 1970’s when he saw the legendary Paco de Lucia perform. Driven by a fire for the tradition that has defined his musical life ever since, the young musician immediately switched from his Jazz guitar for an in-depth journey to the heart of Spanish music.

Ending the day with a strong, inspiring musical piece blending two styles: classic and rock.
The Piano Guys are an American musical group consisting of Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Paul Anderson, and Al van der Beek. They gained popularity through YouTube, where they posted piano and cello renditions of popular songs and classical music. Schmidt and Nelson’s music is accompanied by professional-quality videos shot and edited by Paul Anderson and formerly by Tel Stewart.
Jon Schmidt is perhaps one of the most relevant pianists of our time. This is a brilliant adaptation of Rachmaninoff. Another impressive work from The Piano Guys.

It’s the day after the long awaited one. I normally don’t post topics related to religion or specific beliefs. I strongly feel that that this is a very personal matter and there are as many perspectives on this topic as there are people living on this Earth.
I do believe that the “Season” has changed and become more and more materialistic. It’s about sales, buying, returning and exchanging presents. To me, it’s more than that. It’s more spiritual … why are we here? How can we reclaim the spirit of joy and giving? We seem to have lost the way ….
I was trolling through YouTube, looked and looked and looked … I found a song that expresses much of what I feel. The familiar let-down is real. I hope you enjoy the song and the message it brings.

We continue the countdown to Christmas. This is a musical group that I have also enjoyed. Their voices are magical and transport you to different times in our lives …. at least they transport me.
ENJOY!!
Human Nature is an Australian pop vocal group. They formed in 1989, originally as a doo-wop group called The 4 Trax, while the members were schoolmates in Sydney. After signing with Sony Music and renaming themselves Human Nature, they released their debut album Telling Everybody in 1996, and have charted 17 hits in Australia’s Top 40, and five hits in Australia’s Top 10. Three of their albums have reached multi-platinum certification in Australia, and four have reached platinum, with sales of over 1.6 million records in Australia.
They currently have a residency performing a Motown-themed show on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Christmas Album & Jukebox
In November 2013, Human Nature released The Christmas Album and promoted it with a 10-date Australian tour in December.
In September 2014, Human Nature appeared on the Australian TV program Sunrise to announce a brand new concept album, titled Jukebox, featuring classics from the 50’s & 60’s. “Jukebox” debuted at #2 on the ARIA chart.

A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE
“Black or White” is the lead single from Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album. It was released in November, 11 1991. “Black or White” is a mix of rock, and dance-pop.Written, composed, and arranged by Jackson with the rap lyrics by Bill Bottrell, it is a song that promotes racial harmony. The song’s introduction and main riff are performed by guitarist Slash and Bill Bottrell.
The video shows scenes in which African hunters begin dancing by using moves from West African dance, with Jackson following their moves and them mirroring his; as do, in sequence, traditional Thai dancers, Plains Native Americans, a woman from India and a group of Russians, (wearing Ukrainian clothing and dancing Hopak). Jackson walks through visual collages of fire (defiantly declaring “I ain’t scared of no sheets; I ain’t scared of nobody”), referring to KKK torch ceremonies before a mock rap scene shared with Culkin and other children.
The group collectively states, “I’m not gonna spend my life being a color.” The final verse is performed by Jackson on a large sculpted torch, which the camera pans out to reveal as the Statue of Liberty. Jackson is seen singing on Lady Liberty’s torch surrounded by other famous world edifices including The Giza Sphinx, Hagia Sophia, Pamukkale, The Parthenon, Taj Mahal, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Pyramids of Giza, Golden Gate Bridge, Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower.
At the end of the song, several different people, of differing races and nationalities, including actor Glen Chin, model Tyra Banks, actress Khrystyne Haje, actor Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter, and actress Cree Summer dance as they morph into one another (shown as “talking heads”).
